According to reports, compared with the Apple Watch, the Google Pixel Watch imitates the design of most classic watches, and the screen is also round. Developed primarily by Fitbit, the device includes integrated Fitbit-based fitness tracking features.

According to the report, Google acquired Fitbit in January 2021.

The right side of Pixel Watch has a rotating crown that supports tactile feedback. It is equipped with the Wear OS system, supports continuous heart rate detection, sleep tracking, and it deeply integrates Fitbit functions.

The Pixel Watch will run Google’s Wear OS system, supporting features such as tap-to-pay, Google Maps navigation, and receiving notifications. It can also be controlled by Google Assistant and the haptic crown on the side, which is similar to the Apple Watch’s digital assistant Siri and the Digital Crown. Like Apple, Google will also offer a version that supports 4G network connections.

In addition, Google introduced an accident detection function in the Android system, which will automatically dials 911 and other alarm calls when people encounter accidents such as car accidents. Many people were rescued because of this. This function will be introduced into WearOS smart watches this year.

So far the Pixel Watch price hasn’t been announced yet, which won’t be officially released until this fall’s launch event.
